PROMOTERS PROFILE
In 1969 Mr. K.V. Varghese started a Rice Mill named Kottackal Modern Rice Mill. Shri. Francis Kottackal, son of Mr. K. V. Varghese, a very well experienced gentle man after having an excellent academic education, decided to join his family venture. He is in the industry for more than last 30 years. In 1985 Mr. Francis Kottackal and his partners started Kalpana Agro Mills and later in 1994, K & T Agro Mills. He also served as the the director of M/s K & T Agro Mills (p) Ltd., Kalady. It produces best quality sortex rice and is marketing under the brand name NALLARI. It is fully mechanized plant with advanced colour sorter machine. Only a few rice mills in Kerala are having this facility. This unit has started its commercial activity in 1993 and is having multicrore turnover and good profit. His experienced, enthusiastic and management skills made us in this enviable position today. He was the State Secretary of Kerala State Rice Mills Association and also a member of Rice Mills consortium.
